Parker Dann were appointed by Orbit Homes to assist it with its proposals to develop this greenfield site for 108 dwellings with associated supporting infrastructure.  The land benefited from an outline planning permission and Parker Dann supported Orbit Homes and its design team with securing the approval of reserved matters from the local planning authority,  Wealden District Council, and the approval of information required by conditions attached to the outline planning permission.  This input included support for pre-application correspondence and meetings with the Council Officers on the emerging site layout, advice on the design development of the proposals, attendance at a public exhibition on the proposals and an application to vary conditions attached to the outline planning permission.

Parker Dann also assembled and submitted a successful appeal against the Council’s decision to reject the proposal to deliver the scheme as 100% affordable housing.  The Planning Inspector for the appeal also allowed an application for an award of costs in favour of Orbit Homes.
