Yew Lodge is a high quality conference, meetings and wedding venue centred on an attractive Edwardian house set in landscaped grounds within the Metropolitan Green Belt in Felcourt, Surrey. Parker Dann secured planning permission for a significant multi-purpose extension to the property to enable the business to expand and cater for larger events. To achieve this, a case was assembled that demonstrated the very special circumstances that supported the development in accordance with relevant planning policy. The successful planning application was also supported by pre-application negotiations with the local planning authority’s Planning Department and comprehensive statements prepared by Parker Dann that addressed design and other matters required by planning policy.
