Parker Dann secured the strategic allocation of land at Climping, West Sussex in the Arun District Local Plan. The allocation was for at least 300 residential units with supporting facilities including transport improvements. The allocation followed the submission of representations on behalf of the landowners during the preparation of the Local Plan and attendance at the examination sessions to support the case for the allocation.
Outline planning permission was subsequently secured on appeal for up to 300 dwellings and ancillary development on the land. At the Public Inquiry into the appeal, Parker Dann gave planning evidence in support of the case for the grant of planning permission and was also responsible for assembling the original planning application – including the appointment and co-ordination of the team of supporting consultants.
