With the expert guidance of Adrian Moore and his team at Parker Dann we have been able to realise our ambition of creating a sustainable farm enterprise while retaining one of the last commercial orchards in East Sussex. From the change of use of our existing house into a farm shop and tea room, construction of a new fireplace and craft centre, conversion of the original farm shop into a new butchers, conversion of an existing packhouse into industrial units and adequate road signage, all in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This was a complex planning application and one of the largest within the Parish.
Parker Dann’s expertise was vital in being able to demonstrate the overall merits of the scheme to local people and local planning officers who were then very supportive of our application. Five years on, we now have a vibrant local shopping hub employing local people selling local produce.
